The Commute


The commute from Holmview into Brisbane’s central business district is reasonable. For those using public transport, the trip takes approximately one hour and a half via bus-route 565. When driving, the trip takes approximately thirty minutes via the M1.

Holmview is serviced by an abundance of wonderful schools. Retail Therapy


Holmview Central offers a convenient ‘one-stop’ shopping experience. Open seven days and boasting fifteen speciality services and stores, this facility gives locals little reason to leave the Holmview area. A petrol station is also situated in the immediate vicinity. For any supplementary shopping needs, the ‘Hyperdome’ centre is located just fifteen minutes down the road and hosts major retailers such as Kmart, Big W and JB-HIFI. On a weekend, kids can enjoy Hyperdome’s host of activities such as laser tag, bowling or the cinema.

What’s Going On?


The local Berrinba Wetlands offer 80 hectares of striking natural resources and 8.5 kilometres of walkways and bike tracks. Barbecue and picnic facilities are also available on-site. Just down the road, the Daisy Hill koala centre is a free experience that allows kids to get up-close-and-cuddly with the marsupial and learn more about local conservation efforts.  For the adults, Beenleigh distillery is a heritage-listed institution famous for its artisan rum.
