THE COMMUTE
The main method of travel for residents is by car, with 69% opting to drive. The Mawson interchange is the local station which is situated on the Gawler line. 7% of Mawson Lakes take commute through public transport to Adelaide’s CBD, journey time a quick and easy 20 minutes. In addition to the train, Adelaide’s Metro operates 5 separate bus services through the towns interchange station.

RETAIL THERAPY
The bustling suburb is not shy of retail, cuisine, local businesses and even includes a cinema ideal for the movie buff. The central commercial area is situated between Main Street and Garden Terrace. North of the Promenade is the central shopping precinct including a hotel and a number of smaller shops and restaurants. Main Street and its side roads are also home to Bank branches and various professional services. Mawson Boulevard boasts a perfectly situated university that is at the height of convenience for students as well as Technology Park, making it an ideal spot for businessmen and women.
