The School Run
Seaford Heights and its adjacent suburbs host a mix of highly regarded public and private, primary and secondary schools, including Moana Primary School and Wirreanda Secondary School. Seaford Rise Kindergarten, along with a number of other preschool and childcare facilities, is conveniently located within the vicinity of the major school and shopping districts. Residents have access to the smaller and more local shops of Seaford Meadows Shopping Centre and also the larger selection of retail, business and civic facilities offered at Seaford Central and McLaren Vale Shopping Centre. Rundle Mall and the Myer Centre are both less than 40-minutes away and provide a more unique mix of boutique and popular chain stores, alongside a wide variety of casual and fine-dining options.
What’s Going On?
Residents of this suburb have plenty of options when it comes to keeping active and entertaining the whole family. The Ochre Point and Moana beaches have proven particularly popular with locals, largely in the wake of the recently implemented coastal walking track spanning over 70km. Also, a favourite of locals and tourists alike, the renowned wine-producing region of McLaren Vale is situated less than 10-minutes from this thriving suburb. With a number of high-profile wineries offering daily tours and a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy quality wine and fine-dining, it’s perfect for a relaxing weekend outing or even a more low-key weekday dinner!
