It’s absolutely free to home buyers. That means you can search, filter and compare homes from a range of leading home builders until your hearts content. Spend as much time as you want comparing homes until you’re satisfied you’ve made the right decision. And when you think you have, we will put you in touch with the right people at the click of a button.
iBuildNew® compares home designs from most of Australia’s leading and trusted volume home builders. What do we mean by volume builders? They are typically larger, project based builders managing several hundred (even thousands) homes each year, and usually offer a selection of standard home designs that you can choose from. We will continue to expand our selection of builders to provide you with the most comprehensive home designs all in one place. See the list of builders here.
We are 100% independent and we’re not affiliated with any builder. While we must establish and maintain relationships with the builders, we have no obligations to any of them – except that we present their house specifications and inclusions exactly as they are. No sales pitch, just complete transparency. And we only work with the best. We give you the confidence to make informed decisions and get in your dream home sooner.
No, iBuildNew do not build homes. It would be dangerous to give us a hammer, so we leave the home building to the experts while we focus on developing a website that helps you find your new home design.
We understand that the process of searching for your new home can be a confusing one, so we’re here to make it simple. We are a website platform for you to use to explore new home designs from a range of major home builders, filter to find new homes that meet your needs, and compare saved home designs side by side at the click of a button. If you find homes that you like, we send your enquiry to the relevant builders and they take it from there.
No, iBuildNew only list new home designs for new builds. We are a little different because we focus only on the new home builds. The home designs you see listed on our website have not been constructed, they are waiting patiently for someone like you to come along and turn them into reality. In many cases, our builders will be able to offer you a house and land package if that is what you are looking for, but best practice is to always start by selecting your dream home design as not all homes will fit on all blocks of land.
No, iBuildNew only focuses on new home designs. Unlike others who do a bit of everything, we are putting all our energy into being your one source of information for all things about building new. Our builders and partners may however have land for sale in the areas you are looking, and iBuildNew will help connect you with the right party, but first step is finding that dream home design.
If you’re looking to build in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria or Western Australia we can help you right now. If you’re in other States you’ll have to be a little patient while we get you loaded. We expect to have near national coverage before the end of 2016.
To bring you a top-notch service with accurate results, we need to be curious by nature. That’s why we ask a lot of questions. From there our intuitive platform hums away, working through thousands of possible new home matches. So the more you can tell us, the better your results will be, and the better the service will be from our builders. And best of all, you only need to provide your information once even when making enquiries with multiple builders, saving significant time and frustration.
We get that privacy is important, so don’t worry. We’ll never pass along your details without the A-OK from you. If, and only if, we get the thumbs up, we’ll use that information so you can get the most from your iBuildNew experience. For example, if you’re yet to receive financial assistance, we can connect you with someone who can help. Or, if a builder has a special promotion, we’ll make sure you’re the first to know. We’re all for transparency, so if you’d like to know more please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’re only too happy to help.
Let’s cut through the jargon and simplify it for you.
Standard Inclusions – The fittings, fixtures and appliances that are included in the base price of the home. Common standard inclusions are; Door handles, Timber frame, laminate benchtops, etc.
Upgraded Inclusions (or options) – These are items available at an additional cost. Common upgraded inclusions are; reconstituted stone benchtops, 900mm wide appliances, luxury carpets, blinds, etc.
It is important to note that each builder will include different items in their base price. This is where iBuildNew can help you – once you’ve selected your favourite home designs, compare these home designs via our ‘Compare’ functionality. It is here that you can view all the inclusions important to you side by side to see what’s really included in the base price, and what may cost you a little more.
This is the location you are intending on building your new home. Sometimes builders only construct homes in certain locations, and sometimes the houses details differ from state to state. In order for us to present you with new home designs that meet your specific requirements, it is important that you correctly identify where you are intending on building. We don’t want to present home designs that are not available in your intended area of building.
We make sure your enquiry gets to the right people at your selected builder(s) to speed up the process and ensure you get quality service. They receive the details you provided us during the sign up process, your selected homes and contact details. A representative from the builder will generally contact you in no more than 48 hours.
If you haven’t heard from the builder(s) within a few days please don’t hesitate to let us know by sending an email to email@example.com so that we can chase them up.
We’re here to help, so for all questions relating to the website and our service or if you have any feedback please email firstname.lastname@example.org
For questions relating to the individual house details, please submit an enquiry to the builder via the ‘Enquire’ button located on the individual home listing page, or once you have compared homes and the relevant builder will be able to assist you.
