Beck Wadworth, blogger and stylist of An Organised Life, recently moved to her new apartment with bigger spaces. Our friends at Adairs spoke to Beck about her approach in styling a dreamy bedroom, so here's the tricks to a blogger approved look! white and clear desk lamp on white wooden nightstand near bed1. Pick a theme and colour palette Creating a dreamy bedroom begins with choosing a theme you like best, and sticking with a colour palette.
For me, I always lean towards a monochrome bedroom with lots of texture and print. I also love to add an accent colour through my plants that give the room a relaxing and fresh feel. The best!
TIP: Pinterest is your best friends when it comes to inspirations. Make a mood board dedicated to your bedroom. Add textures, tones, furniture, details you love to add a personal touch. 2. Less is more You don't have to go over the top with bits and bobs. Stick to the essentials and keep your space feeling luxe and clean. Then pick key pieces that will work with your theme, always go for quality over quantity. Negative space is the secret to creating that 'dreamy' look, adding textures will keep your pad feeling warm and cosy. 3. Dress up your bed This is one of the easiest ways to take your bedroom to the next level. Simple quilted duvet cover, delicate cashmere throw, statement printed cushions and soft white linen - all these details can really layer up your bed to keep it looking fresh, relaxing and of course dreamy!
I alternate between the Adairs Empire Jersey Quilt and Adairs Vintage Washed Linen Quilt Cover depending on how I am feeling. Having two interchangeable covers can keep your space interesting, and choosing neutral tones means they always compliment the rest of the room & details.

4. Add art to your bedroom

Artwork is something that I can always rely on to add an element of interest to your space. It can really elevate your room and take it to the next level. Take the time to invest in a little something for your wall. I promise you - it will be the best thing you do.
TIP: If you are unable to hang pieces on your way, simply rest the framed artwork on the floor. TIP: Don't be afraid to swap your artwork up between rooms from time to time, it's an easy way to revamp your space.5. Finishing Touches Add those personal touches that make the space 'you'. Whether it is your favourite home fragrance or extra indoor plants, those finer pieces are what make your room unique and meaningful. Love Adairs?
