Brown Property Group returns to Cranbourne North with new Woodhaven community

After delivering The Avenue at Casey residential community and The Avenue Village Shopping Centre in Cranbourne North, Brown Property Group is returning to the suburb with Woodhaven, a new masterplanned neighbourhood that builds on its longstanding focus on creating connected, landscape-led communities.

Set to emerge at 750 Glasscocks Road, Woodhaven has been designed around one of the site's defining assets: its mature canopy trees. Rather than creating an entirely new neighbourhood on Melbourne's urban fringe, Brown Property Group is delivering a community within an already established pocket of Cranbourne North, allowing future residents to move into a location where schools, shopping centres, transport and everyday services are already part of the local fabric.

The project will offer a mix of residential land, house and land packages, and townhomes, catering to first home buyers, growing families, downsizers and investors seeking flexibility in how they enter the market.

Nature sits at the centre of the masterplan. More than 12 hectares of landscaped open space, wetlands and green corridors will weave throughout the community, connected by over four kilometres of walking and cycling trails. The location also differentiates Woodhaven from many new residential estates. Positioned within established Cranbourne North, residents will have immediate access to local schools, cafés, shopping precincts, parks, major road connections and public transport, eliminating the wait often associated with developing growth corridors.

For Brown Property Group, Woodhaven builds on more than six decades of community development across Victoria. The developer has previously delivered several significant communities throughout Melbourne's southeast, including the 900-lot Avenue at Casey in Cranbourne North and the 600-lot Canopy at Amstel in Cranbourne, the latter transforming the former Amstel Golf Course into a residential neighbourhood that celebrated the site's established landscape.

That experience is reflected in Woodhaven's emphasis on creating a strong sense of place from the outset.
