Eight Homes is giving Victorian buyers the opportunity to walk through some of its most popular double-storey home designs, with displays available across Melbourne’s north, west, south east and Geelong.
Eight Homes two-storey floorplans show how growing and multigenerational households can gain more bedrooms, living zones and private retreats without allowing the home’s footprint to consume as much of the block.
By distributing rooms across two levels, the designs can retain more space for a backyard, alfresco area or garden while creating clearer separation between shared living areas and quieter bedroom zones. The range includes options for narrow and smaller lots, as well as larger homes with multiple living areas, studies and guest accommodation.
Buyers can experience a wider selection of Eight Homes’ popular double-storey designs in person across Melbourne and Geelong, including the four featured below, each offering a different response to contemporary family living.
Jumeirah 4-45
The five-bedroom Jumeirah 4-45 places much of the household’s shared activity on the ground floor, where the kitchen and meals area connect with the family room and alfresco.
This arrangement allows the home’s main entertaining spaces to remain closely connected to the backyard. Rather than treating the outdoor area as separate from the house, the floorplan extends everyday living towards the alfresco, supporting family gatherings and indoor-outdoor entertaining.
Upstairs, four bedrooms each have access to an ensuite and walk-in robe. The main bedroom goes further with a large walk-in robe and private retreat, while a separate casual living area gives family members another place to spend time away from the main ground-floor zone.
The Jumeirah also includes a study, three bathrooms, two powder rooms and a two-car garage. It is on display at Alamora Estate, 9-15 Monferrato Avenue, Tarneit.
Saara 5-52
At Mt Atkinson Estate in Truganina, the Saara 5-52 demonstrates how a larger double-storey design can provide several private spaces while maintaining a central connection to the outdoors.
The four-bedroom home combines four bathrooms, two powder rooms, a study and several living zones within a floorplan intended to provide greater separation between family members.
Its entry leads towards the central open-plan living area and adjoining alfresco, with the kitchen positioned at the heart of the home. Generous preparation space and a walk-in pantry give the kitchen the capacity to support larger households and regular entertaining.
Each of the three secondary bedrooms includes a walk-in robe, while the main bedroom has dual walk-in robes, an ensuite and its own retreat. That configuration gives parents a self-contained space while retaining separate areas elsewhere in the home for children, guests or extended family.

Thanne 4-42
The HIA-winning Thanne 4-42 takes a family-zoning approach, separating its central ground-floor living hub from the bedrooms and casual living space upstairs.
Its open-plan living and meals area is supported by a kitchen with extensive storage and a walk-in pantry. These shared spaces are grouped together to make daily movement between cooking, dining and family activities more direct.
On the upper level, three secondary bedrooms with walk-in robes are arranged around a large casual living area and shared bathroom. This gives children or teenagers a separate part of the home while retaining the ground floor for entertaining and general family use.
The main bedroom has its own walk-in robe and ensuite. In total, the Thanne provides five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a powder room and a two-car garage.

Aurien 4-41
The Aurien 4-41 is the most accessible of the four designs for buyers wanting to compare display locations, with homes available to visit at both Cloverton Estate in Kalkallo and Harpley Estate in Werribee.
The Aurien 4-41 is designed for buyers who want strong indoor-outdoor connections alongside accommodation that can respond to extended family or regular guests.
A central kitchen with an adjoining walk-in pantry anchors the open-plan living areas. The layout is intended to create a sense of space and natural light, while the positioning of the shared areas makes the home particularly suited to entertaining.
One of the Aurien’s defining features is its ground-floor guest bedroom, which includes an expansive walk-in robe and private ensuite. By providing this accommodation downstairs, the design can offer visiting relatives, adult children or extended family greater privacy without placing them within the main upstairs bedroom zone.
The five-bedroom home also includes three bathrooms, a powder room and a two-car garage.

Affordable 8 targets more budget-conscious builds, Savvy focuses on smaller and narrow lots, while the Gold collection provides larger floorplans and additional living space.
