Azure lodges DA for new Meadowbrook Terrace community

Integrated property group Azure has lodged plans for a new 145-home gated terrace community in Meadowbrook, set to introduce a new design-led residential offering to one of Logan’s most strategically connected suburbs.

Located at 35 University Drive, the proposed development will deliver 145 architecturally designed terrace residences, responding to a gap in the local market for contemporary, low-maintenance homes positioned below the $1 million price point.

Azure’s vision for Meadowbrook is to create a secure, contemporary community that offers buyers an elevated alternative to both traditional detached housing and conventional townhouse developments.

The gated community will feature a resort-style swimming pool and landscaped communal lounging and recreation areas, creating opportunities for residents to connect while supporting a low-maintenance lifestyle.

Azure’s Founder Trent Keirnan said the proposed development responds to growing demand for well-designed terrace housing in connected growth locations, while introducing a new type of residential product to Meadowbrook.

“Meadowbrook has enormous potential, but there is currently a clear gap in the market for contemporary, design-led terrace housing,” said Mr Keirnan.

“It is an area that enjoys green surrounds, a well-established suburban character and excellent connectivity to both Brisbane and the Gold Coast, but the existing residential market is dominated by older detached homes and lower-quality townhouse developments.”

Architecturally, the community will embrace a contemporary Queensland aesthetic, combining blonde brick, textured white render, and composit materials to complement the Queensland residetial vernacular.

The project will be positioned within the high-demand sub-$1 million market, providing buyers with an opportunity to secure a new, architecturally considered home without the price point typically associated with detached housing in increasingly constrained Southeast Queensland markets.

The Meadowbrook project will build on Azure’s growing portfolio of terrace communities across Southeast Queensland, including its luxury $72 million Oakmont community at Brookwater, where the final stage is currently under construction.
