A bedroom is one of the most important rooms in the home. It is where we spend most of our time getting well rested and should be designed with maximum comfort to ensure we sleep soundly. Making sure your bedroom design is sleep-friendly will mean that you will never have to count sheep again, and the 3 pm yawns from lack of rest will soon stop, making you energised and refreshed for the working week. Below are some design tips to transform your room into a dreamer's sanctuary:1. Scent
Having a comforting sense of scent circulating in your bedroom will enhance the feelings of tiredness and will result in a night of better sleep. If you have a favourite scent, purchasing an ambient fragrance in the form of candles or a diffuser will ultimately relax your body, sending you into a deep undisturbed slumber. Whilst candles should never be burnt overnight, lighting one an hour before bed and letting the room absorb the odour will be beneficial and when placed nicely, can look very aesthetically pleasing.
