Located on the south-west coast of Western Australia, approximately 72km from Perth sits a coastal town by the name of Mandurah. Mandurah has grown from an isolated holiday community along the shores of the Peel-Harvey Estuary to a major regional city in just over a decade, making it now the second-largest city in the state. Known as being host to Australia’s most spectacular waterways, Mandurah is blessed with abundant wildlife and is home to some of the states healthiest population of dolphins. With every day in Mandurah feeling like a Summer getaway, the suburb has become an ideal destination for retirement. Retirees are well represented here, making up 22.7% of the overall population. As well as being a hotspot for a relaxing lifestyle, Mandurah is also a superb place to raise a family, offering an exciting mix of residential developments, from family homes and modern apartments within new estates to luxurious homes nestled among canal waterways. The Commute

Leaving the southwest coastline and journeying to Perth’s CBD will take residents roughly an hour by car on the easily accessible Kwinana Fwy. For those who opt to take the train daily, the suburb is serviced by the Mandurah railway line. For commuters wishing to travel into the city for work or pleasure, trains run on 20-minute intervals with an expected journey time of 51 minutes.

Mandurah and it’s adjacent suburbs are host to a variety of respected educational institutions including the Mandurah Primary School, John Tonkin College alongside Frederick Irwin Anglican School perfect for those seeking a religious connected curriculum. Being an ideal location for settling families, the town is also serviced by numerous early learning facilities.

The suburb is anchored by the Mandurah Forum Shopping Centre, which underwent a fresh transformation just short of a year ago. Becoming a premium shopping, dining and entertainment complex, the centre has everyone’s needs covered, from everyday essentials to specialty retailers. The Lakelands Shopping Centre is just a short ten-minute drive for those seeking even more retail heaven and offers shoppers a further abundance of choice.
