Data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics shows the median age of Busselton residents is 42, just above the national average of 38 years. With approximately 6,744 families residing in Busselton, children aged 0-14 years account for 19.7%, and people aged 65 years and over represent 21.5% of the population. The top three occupations in Busselton are in Technicians and Trades Workers (18.4%), Professionals (13.8%) and Labourers (13.3%). Transportation

Busselton is no less convenient than Perth. The suburb is largely serviced by the town’s bus service – TransRegional allows residents to commute intra-town and inter-town within regional Western Australia.
