The suburb is largely serviced by Main North Road. It connects the area to the surrounding neighbourhoods of Gawler, Elizabeth and Salisbury and the Adelaide CBD. While travel via this route is approximately a 48-minute journey, transport via rail from the local station averages an only slightly longer 57 minutes.

The School Run
Munno Para and its adjacent suburbs host a variety of highly regarded public and private schools, including Blakeview Primary School and Mark Oliphant College. Crittenden Road Early Learning and Kinder, along with a number of other kindergarten and childcare facilities, is conveniently located within the vicinity of the major school and shopping districts. Although not situated particularly close to major universities, travel to the Adelaide City Centre takes less than an hour, while several prominent TAFEs, including the Elizabeth Campus of TAFE SA only a short 10 minutes away.

Retail Therapy
Residents have access to the smaller local stores of Blakes Crossing Shopping Centre. Larger selection of retail, business and civic facilities are offered at Parks Shopping Cente and Munno Para Shopping City. Elizabeth City Centre and The Fields Shopping Centre are both less than 20 minutes away. They provide residents with a more unique mix of boutique and popular chain stores and also a wide variety of casual and fine-dining options.

As a younger town with a strong focus on community, Munno Para offers leisure pursuits to accommodate an active lifestyle. One such popular attraction is the closeby Shedley Theatre in Elizabeth.
